Matthew earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida. Matthew then attended Florida State University College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate. During Law School Matthew interned with the City Attorney’s Office of Palm Bay and at the Florida State University Public Interest Law Center where he represented indigent clients in Family Law cases. After passing the bar exam he continued to practice Family Law for indigents clients at Heart of Florida Legal Aid in Polk County, representing victims of domestic violence in family law and injunction cases. In 2021, he joined a Plaintiff litigation firm focusing on first party property insurance claims.

In 2022, Matt joined Killgore Pearlman as an Associate where he focuses his practice in insurance defense litigation.
