Douglas P. Gerber
A native Floridian, Douglas P. Gerber earned his bachelor's degree and master's degree from the University of Florida. Doug attended the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University. Doug was admitted to the Florida Bar 2005 and to the U.S. District Court in and for the Middle District of Florida in 2006. He has practiced in law in Central Florida throughout his career, where he has and continues to focus his practice on several areas of business and real estate and law, including but not limited to business and real estate litigation and transactions, contracts, business entities/corporations, construction disputes, probate, commercial and residential evictions, commercial and residential foreclosures, collections, replevin actions, homeowners associations, eminent domain, and other related matters. Doug is a past chairperson of the Real Estate Law section of the Orange County Bar Association.
In his spare time, Doug is a coach in the Altamonte Springs Girls’ Fastpitch Softball League and continues to serve as a volunteer for the Orlando chapter of Autism Speaks. Doug is a past chairman for the Bear Lake Elementary School Advisory Committee and has also served on the Board of Trustees at the Congregation for Reform Judaism in Orlando.
